Eligibility: Applicants must be a 3rd, or 4th grade student (The Faculty of Science, Royal University of Phnom Penh ) and a 3rd, 4th , 5th grade student (The Institute of Technology of Cambodia) under the age of 25 at one of the affiliated universities as of the application date. They need to have excellent school records and have decided or intend to attend a graduate school in or outside of Cambodia.

Application Process: Every year, with help from the affiliated universities, the YAO Cambodia accepts applications from early July through the end of September.

Affiliation: Each year, prior to the start of the application process, the HOF will announce the list of the affiliated universities, schools, and majors without capping the number of applications to be accepted.

Application Materials: What must be submitted includes the applicant’s official academic records, an interim report on research paper, and two or more letters of recommendation from his/her affiliated professors.

Registration: All applications will be accepted and registered at the YAO Cambodia.
